Superintendent's Message

Dr. Kathryn Varner

Dear South Holland School District 151 Families,

As we begin Quarter 2, I want to take a moment to thank each of you for the dedication, hard work, and commitment you have demonstrated throughout the first quarter of the school year. Together, we have celebrated many accomplishments, created meaningful learning experiences for our students, and continued to build a culture of excellence across our district.

Quarter 2 brings new opportunities for growth, learning, and achievement. As the days become busier and the academic expectations increase, I encourage everyone to remain focused on our shared mission of ensuring every student has the support and resources needed to succeed. Whether in the classroom, in athletics, fine arts or through extracurricular activities, our students continue to make us proud through their perseverance and determination.

I would also like to recognize the dedication of our teachers, support staff, administrators and families. Your partnership and commitment are essential to the success of our students and schools. The work you do each day helps make our district a place where students feel valued, challenged, and inspired to achieve their greatest potential.

As we move forward into this next quarter, let us continue to work together, support one another, and celebrate the successes that make our school community so special. I encourage our students to stay engaged, set goals, and take advantage of every opportunity to learn and grow.

Thank you for your continued support of our schools. I wish everyone a successful, productive, and rewarding Quarter 2.

Together, we will continue building a strong tradition of excellence for every student, every day.

Warm regards,

Dr. Kathryn Varner
 Superintendent of Schools
