The Board will hold its Regular Board Meeting on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at 7:00pm.  

This is a public (Open) meeting.  Members of the public may access the meeting by coming to the meeting location. Please note: All attendees should be aware that open meetings of the Board of Education may be filmed/recorded and/or streamed online by local media or others. 

The Board of Education meeting location is:  Coolidge Middle School, 15500 7th Ave., Phoenix, IL 60426.

Superintendent Search

The Board of Education has initiated a search for the next Superintendent of South Holland School District 151. Interested candidates can find more information and application details on the search firm website - School Exec Connect. Please check back here for more information as it becomes available. 

Special Board Meeting - Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at 7:00pm

The Board of Education will have a Special Board Meeting on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at 7:00pm. The meeting agenda will include meeting with the Executive Search Firm, School Exec Connect, to plan for the Superintendent Search process. 

The Board will go into Executive (Closed) Session for the purpose of Personnel - The appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees, specific individuals - 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1).

No action will be taken after the closed session. 

2025-2026 Board Meeting Dates

The Regular Board Meeting is scheduled for the first Monday of the month except for the months of September, December, March, and June. 

A Committee-of-the-Whole meeting will be held prior to the regular Board Meeting. Items on the Agenda will be discussed; however, no board action will be taken.
